“Chic for cheap.... But right under a plane route”
Great place if you're young, on a budget but still want to party all night in a chic surrounding. If you don't like thin walls, noisy neighbors or roaring jets, then consider aomething else because this hotel's got plenty of that! But for the price I paid, it was certainly nice. The restaurant "addiction" was much better than expected.
“Party Hotel”
the property had some neat decorations - very modern stuff. If you are in Vegas to party all night, this may be the pace for you to stay. I was not. Of my 3 complaints, 2 could have easily been resolved by the hotel staff had I spoken up. My first complaint was the wall unit heater/AC. It made this ticking noise all night that would wake me up every 20 minutes or so. I could have asked for a different room and I'm sure I would have been accommodated as the hotel was not nearly at full occupancy. It wasn't too big of a deal for me; I'm used to waking up often through the night. My second complaint was that the phone in my room was inoperable. I just used my cell phone instead. The third complaint however is a little more disconcerting. I went to sleep around 10:00 PM to be awoken an hour later with loud music and a screaming drunk girl in the hall. Called security, they acted asking the guest to turn down the music and close their door. 30 minutes later, same thing. Called security again. This happened about 3 more times before we gave up with security. They were nowhere near forceful enough to calm the guests. They could have moved the loud guests to a different wing or offered for us to at least move rooms at the very least. Instead they chose to not enforce any action against the loud guests. The pool is neat looking if you are there for the summer. Just make sure that you plan to sleep all day and party all night if you stay at the Rumor.
“Love this hotel....Shhhh, its a secret,”
This hotel works out very well for me as i'm in Vegas often working conventions. Its newly rebuilt very cozy and no stress.
“Not Perfect, but really good!”
We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights for a business trip. We chose the hotel because of the decor and the amazing price we got. It was really great! I have to admitt that we usually stay at the Westin and are used to everything being prefect. It was not quite there, but you can tell they are trying. When we got there we didn't have an alarm, iron or hair dryer and the phone didn't work. But they fixed everything quickly and were very nice. The beds were so comfortable!!! And the rooms were true to the photo's. All 3 of our rooms had the raised tub, the jets do not work, and couches. The shower was amazing!! You can tell it was an older building that has been remodeled in just a few ways. But over all it was great!!! We walked to the HardRock and the Subway next door. They had an event almost everynight we were there. It is not a "gay" hotel, but it is openly gay friendly. They had an "enGAYgment Bridal fair" while we were there. My husband, a Pastor, and I walked around and never thought to much about it until we saw the signs! HAHA. Nobody seemed to care we were striaght, and everyone was very nice. The food at the resturant was wonderful. The burger is the best deal and worth every penny of the $12. This is a great hotel if you want something different and just off the strip. I will stay there again and recomend it to friends.
“In service is not a Boutique Hotel”
The hotel is nice. Big confortable rooms, beautiful gardens. Service is bad. Unfriendly people in the recepcion. The day of my departure they charge me an aditional $ 26,00 for use of the resort facilities, something that was not mentioned when I made the reservation. Hotel is pet friendly.
“Great Surprise”
This was a really great hotel. We were very pleased with the room and the service. The only downfall was the disco/techno music that played non-stop at all hours outside. Fun, but annoying after awhile. :) A 20-25 min walk to the strip which was ok at first but it became harder after the 8th or 9th walk. Good spot though, there's a Subway, Hard Rock & liquor store next door practically.
“Reasonable price, clean”
three-star hotel, wt u expect? If u wanna try sth different abt room design and art style, u may want it. all thing in room hv special looking appearance. at night, u would hear yr neighbor noise very very clearly. very little parking space, very weak wifi
“Probably a better alternative to the Hard Rock”
A young crowd at this hotel, with large rooms and friendly staff. Just across the street from the Hard Rock hotel.
“Fabulous Experience”
The hotel is exceptionally done. Very hip, chic, comfortable and everything that the website said that it is. The staff was friendly, room and grounds clean and Lucy our dog was made to feel totally at home! The restaurant was great too!
“Great for college/club scene”
Hotel looked exactly like pictures. Staff very helpful. Rooms clean/orderly. Great smelling bath products. Geared more for 20-30 something crowd/club scene. Party/club atmosphere but everyone very nice/ not rowdy. If your want to be closer to club scene get room in main building, if not opt out for section away from front desk as I did, no problem having room changed away from music/club scene that continued into early AM. They used strong room fresher, was a little overwhelming but soon fan took care of it. Pack a shower cap if you don't want your hair to get wet, shower head comes from ceiling but shower large enought to side step direct hit just in case you forget yours. Low lighting in room but good lighting in bathroom. Careful how you open the sliding mirrored doors, easy to get off track. You have been warned.
