"A great place to stay. Thank you to all the staff and management who were all so friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable, the pools and gardens were beautiful. The breakfast and food was very nice. Hotel had a great view. definitely would stay there again."

"Beautiful property, amazing views. Located high up on a backroad so not at all walkable to anything. We booked a villa with a private pool. Room was clean, large and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast buffet was small, but food was delicous. Would stay again but not for more than a couple days due to location. "

"Good value and a quiet location. Issue with the shower and tap pressure. Showere was sorted straight away but bathroom tap had no cold water pressure. Apart from that a good overall stay."

"We liked our stay at Smaranala as a stopover to our next stay. The room was nice and the pool excellent. The atmosphere is difficult to understand as it seems to be directed at long-term residents and the expat community. It is located in a strange residential place, not really close to any shops or food opportunities (you´ll find them after a lot of walking in unlit roads). Unfortunately the breakfast was not included, which is always disappointing."

"This is an amazing propert with a pool especially if you have children. The Pepito grocery is like 10 mins away with car, the major spits less than 1 hour drive. The managament is excellent, the property is in very good condition. The only thing that would make it better is if it had washing machine and dryer, but we managed just air drying them on the rooftop."
