The Zenith - Designer Shoal Bay Home with Ultimate Water and Bush Views

"I really liked this property, perfect for a family with young kids as most of the bedrooms are in a line downstairs. It has an open flow upstairs and there are also two separate large decks for each floor, which gives plenty of room to relax together or separately. Very modern and clean. The location is great, it's perched up on the hill so you are amongst the treetops with views of the bay, but it is private and quiet. I also liked that Shoal Bay is a lot more chill than the other neighbouring areas. You could walk down to the beach from the property if you wanted, I think it is only 600m or so, but an uphill walk on the way back. No issues for us as it is an easy drive with tons of parking otherwise. Keep in mind most parking is metered (to be expected these days) so I recommend downloading the NSW Park & Pay app beforehand.The local birds will come visit you for breakfast which is an unexpected bonus."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved staying at this beautiful home. The driveway is very steep and only accessible by 4wd, which was quite slippery in the wet. Overall though it was beautifully clean and perfect for our get together with plenty of room for all. Only suggestion is to bring toilet paper with u as not supplied spares."

"Being familiar with the area, property was in great location and suitable for our needs. Nothing too flash and basic. The downside was several pieces of broken furniture and the check-in process was painful receiving emails 4 times to online check in and not receiving actual details of how to access. Tried to call the office and was greeted by a Chat Bot, when asked to speak with office was sent to an offshore call centre. Went to office to pick up keys and shared my experience, the staff were very pleasant and somewhat embarrassed stating that a new system had been introduced. Unless the office review this change, remove the o/s call centre as a minimum, Probably won’t be using them again sorry. Give me the real people!!"

"The house was a fantastic house when you have a few people staying. Don’t like the driveway so very very steep.Plenty of items for your cooking and serving.The house cleanliness was not good a lot of bugs throughout the house, spiderwebs in a bathroom and around through the house. Holes in the screen in the window in the kitchen and cobwebs couldn’t open it a bug caught between the window and screen because of that we couldn’t open it for fresh air. Cobwebs all along the back sliding doors and screens so dirty. The windows in the bedroom downstairs were very dirty to see the sea view. One of the slats of the plantation blinds was missing in the main bedroom and it’s at the level so the light comes straight in on you when in bed in the morning. The house great and great area but just so dirty."

"The unit was neat. There was a bad smell in the kitchen cupboards and drawers. It is a very basic unit but it did the job. The beds were comfortable. It would have been nice if we could open the glass sliding door out to the front but it seems to be permanently closed. Great location, right across from the beach and walking distance to all the beautiful shops, cafes and restaurants."
