"Read this if you read all the negative reviews and you’re anxious! It’s clear that people have too high of expectation for the reality of what they are booking. The resort was gorgeous. The jungle to beach environment was absolutely relaxing and therapeutic. TONS of animals just hoppin’ around adding to the experience. Our room was small but it really had just about everything you needed for a beautiful, relaxing time. Appreciated the reusable bottle and filtered water stations! The food was GOOD. Understand that this is a smaller boutique-y resort and not one of these XL Lux resorts you find. The buffet was on par with the size of the resort. It’s definitely not a large buffet, but it’s adequate for where you’re staying. There is a lot of variety, from Italian, to Asian, to European cuisine, I always felt that there were different options available. And again, that buffet HITS when you’re drinking at the pool bar all day. The restauraunts were absolutely a 10/10. Don’t skip those! I can tell this is a popular locals spot, coming from USA, I was maybe one of two groups that were fron the US which was kind of refreshing. However, because this was a kids friendly resort my biggest complaint was the rowdy kids that kind of ruin the vibe at the pool bar. If you’re looking for chill over party vibes. this is your resort. The beaches were mostly child-free* Overall I loved my experience, I had a great time and the staff was so friendly. Just the kids 😵‍💫"

"Beautiful Luxury Villa on the ocean!This house is big and luxurious. It’s much nicer than it looks in the photos. The pool is perfect for any type of use, kids playing or just hanging out. In August the pool was warm and perfect in the evening for a night swim. The kitchen is large and nice. The bedrooms are all lovely and have nice bathrooms attached. The hosts were helpful and responsive. There are good AC split units in all the bedrooms and main living area. There’s lots to do in the playa del Carmen area. It’s very safe and tourist oriented, In a good way. The sargassum seaweed was present during our trip but we knew about this before we came. Since it is cleared from the beach the smell isn’t too bad. It doesn’t come into the house. The house is a 10 minute walk from the gate of the Playacar neighborhood and from there, there is a 20 block promenade with shops and restaurants."

"Pamela was very helpful with all kinds of "need to know" information before and during our stay. When things came up she was quick to remedy the situation. The condo was clean, well furnished, and included things we did not pack in our luggage like an ice chest. We visited at a time when there was a lot of sargassum (seaweed) washing up on the beach each day. This meant that playing in the waves or walking the beach near the condo was out. We did not let that ruin our vacation! There are still beautiful sights to see and fun things to do! We explored the ruins of Tulum, swam in the Aktun Chen cenote, did ziplines and swam in another cenote at Xcaret, took the ferry over to Cozumel to go snorkeling (the sargassum only affect half of the island), and wandered the shops of Playa. The condo still has an amazing view and was very comfortable! We would definitely like to return!"
