Greg and Michael were lovely hosts. We arrived a little earlier than the check in time and Greg made sure we were checked in and settled, that's really great service. They were both friendly and on hand if we had any questions about the property or the local area.
Breakfast options were plenty. The quiche was absolutely delicious.
Hannah is an absolute gem, she shared knowledge about local hikes, restaurants and information about the area.

Probably the best resort we have stayed in, in all our travels & we have been around!
We were upgraded to the beach front suite which was absolutely stunning, luxurious & very very spacious, not to mention the ocean views & sounds of waves crashing to put you to sleep each night.
The private beach is superb & like the resort itself is not overcrowded like many other mainstream resorts.i would come back in a heart beat.

Great facilities and apartments, just wish I had realised how big the resort is as we were staying with friends and they were a car drive away.
Also parking is super expensive.

Nice stay, but incredibly expensive. I would love to stay in the area for several days, but not at those prices - much better to stay in Volcano or Punaluu and drive back and forth.
I found the desk clerk to be a bit blunt - she wasn’t rude at all, just not very cheery or welcoming. I also wasn’t impressed by the $15 fee to use their air-conditioning units - absolutely ridiculous to charge an extra fee considering the high accommodation charge for the apartment.

We had to turn off the main road and up a winding narrow track to access our Big Island Retreat. Apprehension turned to pleasant surprise for the four of us when we arrived to our destination. We were greeted by our lovely host, Gigi who helped us with all aspects of our stay and even accompanied us to do some snorkelling at the adjacent beach. Our accomodation was the top floor of a large Hawaiian plantation villa. The central atrium with a palm, tropical plants and a bubbling fountain was...

This was our second stay at Marriott Waikoloa Beach and won’t be our last, location is perfect, away from the crowds of Kona but a short drive back there, has 3 great pools and a beach, short stroll to queens or kings marketplaces or lava lava beach club. We stayed 5 nights but will definitely stay longer next time. The staff are so friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
