Be careful when booking the “Resort view” rooms, ours was facing the rooftop of the lobby with all the AC units. The carpets in some common areas are dirty and water stained. A pool light came off loose and people were afraid of getting electrocuted. Guests are fighting for chairs at the pool because there is no real organization, chairs are dispersed everywhere. At times the front desk is understaffed and you may have to wait more than 30 mins to speak to someone. Because of Covid, resort activities are understandably limited to smaller groups, however they have not made more sessions available, therefore everything is booked all the time. Even then, you still get charged a resort fee specifically for those activities you were NOT able to do. Also because of Covid, no valet parking, no room service and no daily housekeeping, which is understandable however they should consider removing resort fees. The beach behind the hotel is a public beach, I mention it because even if you don’t stay there, you can enjoy it. They seem to want to charge for everything, there is even a $50 rescue fee, if you rent a kayak and they have to help you get back to shore for whatever reason. Even though the restaurant is first come first serve, somehow the tables facing the pool are “reserved”. Therefore you get stuck in the back with no view. All of the above considered the price is not worth the stay.
