"I always enjoy staying at this property. The team is friendly, and the whole place has such a calm, relaxing feel. The rooms are well maintained, the mattress is incredibly comfortable, and the air conditioner works beautifully — such a relief after a long day. There’s also a laundry available (located in a separate area at the property), which is really handy, and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for cooking. The bathroom is clean and modern too. Overall, it’s a comfortable, welcoming place to stay and always a great experience."

"Hotel is old but rooms are clean and quiet with new split system aircons and the usual appliances. You will get a good night's sleep here if you don't want any noise disturbing you. Location very convenient being in the Mackay CBD. Staff allowed us to use the reception freezer to keep an ice pack cold for my daughter's medication. Thank you!"

"Limited reception hours and unanswered contacts to the ‘manager on duty’ meant we were unable to use WiFi nor obtain milk and clean towels. The once sparkling White Lace Motel is now tired and shabby and sadly like a lot of motels, seemingly being let run down by inattentive and disinterested owners… sorry to say!!!"

"Solo emergency stay over as a family member needed surgery at the local hospital, booked the single cabin - had everything I needed - however I would suggest ear plugs as the highway is close, eye mask as the door is glass and a light shines through all night. Otherwise all good."
