We booked expecting a 2 bed apartment and got a studio flat. Be careful when booking this misleading listing. The room was not clean when we arrived at 3pm and we had to make them aware and wait for it to be cleaned, further delaying our plans There was no blind on the glass rear door meaning the entire room was bright by 5am."

"I last stayed at the Strand Palace ten years ago. I remembered liking it, but I didn't remember being knocked out by *just* how lush the initial impression is, *just* how friendly and helpful the staff are, and just how nice the room was. I'm *reasonably* sure it's undergone a total overhaul and the result is the feeling of luxury without the price tag. The hotel is VERY convenient to pretty much everything, too. Straight to the top of my London go-to hotels."
