"We stayed at Prominence near the start of spring. During this time, many shops, restaurants, and cafés were either closed for the season, closed early, or had limited seating. Many bar-style eateries were also not very welcoming to families with children. In hindsight, it might have been better to stay in the Happo-One area, as it was the only ski resort still open for the remainder of the spring season. "Water noise from the bathroom, unbearable difficulty sleeping. Unable to use the hotel bar or kitchen after 9pm, very strict on the time, at breakfast you were told at 9-50 that you needed to leave at 10, only seemed to apply to non Japanese customers, they stayed for as long as they wanted. Other than that staff were friendly."
