"We arrived much earlier than the check in time due to our trains, and the room was available so we were able to check in before midday, but even if we couldn’t, they were happy to look after the luggage. The room was spacious, comfortable, with fantastic views over the museum gardens gates with a short pleasant stroll the the minister (gardens gate shut at 6pm so it’s an extra 1-2minutes to go around). "Clearly had been an impressive building with great facilities. Needs a massive update and refresh. Who has carpet in a bathroom, especially a hotel? (which had marks/stains throughout the room). Noisy room (7) which was over bar, made worse by dishwashing glasses at 2.00am! Breakfast was average, overcooked sausages, as an example. Over-priced for what it offers as accommodation. Could be brilliant, but needs work to clean the rooms, woyld be a start! Sorry."
