The riom was immaculate, the staff was friendly except for the overnight reception. Was disappointed that the spa was nit open as that was the reason i booked. The restaurant was exceptional except for breakfast.

Quite simply a very good hotel. Well located for rail station and then the city centre and thereabouts easily accessible on foot.
Reception was good, breakfast had a great selection of the usual stuff plus a hot food menu option. Room was well equipped and clean. Went for the club deluxe option which did not disappoint. Happy to recommend.

Welcomed by friendly Front Desk member. Enjoyed a cocktail at lounge while waiting for room. Check-in was easy and quick, room clean and one we requested. Stay was very nice. Good dinner in restaurant.
Would return and recommend. Just across the bridge from Shambles for Christmas shopping, Minster, park, river walk and other sites of interest.

Easy check in, staff friendly, room was spacious clean and tidy with everything we needed. Bed was nice and big extra pillows are in wardrobe if you need them.
We didn’t have breakfast chose to eat out so I haven’t scored it - location is perfect for York 7 min walk from pretty much everything you need.
