We had a reservation for two nights before heading to the Redwoods. We had a reservation for someplace near the airport the night before leaving CA, but ended up staying an extra night at this hotel because it felt so good to be there. This is my new favorite hotel in SF. "

"Very nice hotel. Overall exceed our expectations, especially their breakfast! Crab scramble, blueberry pancake, breakfast plates are all AMAZING! Staffs are great and helpful. "This is a very cute, quaint, historic facility with a lot of charm and great staff. It has its compromises—the floors squeak, the room had a window but no AC, and I am sure I missed a disclosure but it turns out I booked a room with a shared toilet and shower down the hall. For the price, it was great, and for the age and design of the building, the owners have done a great job keeping it up. Everything was clean and well-cared-for in its old world way. "

"Very welcoming entry area, room was very clean and the space was very efficiently organized so that even as a small room, it had a full bathroom with tub and shower, including a separate sink/mirror plus another separate area with counter and mirror, with a tiny pod coffee maker. The bed was comfy with many pillows to choose from; and there was a desk with chair for working. The only flaw was the heater/A/C which kept running about every 15 minutes. "
