I have been to Poppies several times and it is always a lovely experience, from the place itself, stunning gardens, extremely private and quiet. The staff are amazing, very friendly and I feel very relaxed there.

The staff are absolutely incredible and they always made us feel special when they could! The buffet breakfast had great choices, the room was always cleaned promptly and perfectly, everything about our stay was incredible! We loved the pool area, the atmosphere, staff and over all beauty was unparalleled! We even got a birthday dessert!! Thank you for an incredible and memorable stay!!

We’re booked in a room facing the garden... the room location was perfect the only down turn is the noise coming from on going repairs,,, but in saying so, it was necessary for the ugrades and they’re not working at night, most of the time in mid day were all guest is out doing their stuff. Was very good hotel and service but was quite disappointed with actual booking through Expedia said we had breakfast included but when we got there they had no record of it at hotel. This cost us at hotel an extra $20 day an expense we did not budget on and we had a tight budget..

This hotel was in a great location. The food was fantastic and the prices were very reasonable. The rooftop bar and restaurant had great views around the coast line and had some good theme nights throughout the week. The staff were very friendly and could not be more helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was cold.

"THE BENE" was a hidden gem smack bang in the middle of Kuta. Five minute walk to the beach and find the other way to about the middle of Legian Street. The hotel is fairly new, exceptionally clean and no odours whatsoever. Breakfast was great, the pool nice and refreshing as it doesn't get too much sun. Would highly recommend it.

Fantastic staff, best location. We were in a villa it was amazing I've stayed in 11 different hotels and villas in Bali and this is by far my favourite. It ticked every box for us from location, price, staff, smaller boutique hotel, great food and services, we will definitely be back and recommending it.

Another lovely stay at Yulia. Disabled friendly hotel. We booked deluxe pool rooms which are great. But downgraded one room to the back of the hotel as it had a lot of local people holidaying and they tend to be very loud. Just needed some peace and quiet The pool is very small as is the hotel. My wife and me had a awesome time ,if you don't mind it's a bit dated, and they are fixing it up, you're going to have a great time. Room service was fast, food in the restaurant was awesome, Pool was good too. Beach front kuta for that price awesome!!!!!!!!

I arrived at the hotel after midnight because of my flight delay but I was greeted warmly by security officer and the reception staff. I had booked a deluxe room but got a free upgrade to executive room, upon request. By far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. I heard stories about hotels not being so cleanly in different places in Bali so I wanted to avoid that. If your looking for a peaceful stay the rooms are quiet, black out curtains king size bed and a clean bathroom with a deep soaking bathtub. Staff here were beyond kind and helpful. Upgraded me to a suite on a higher floor when I mentioned that I was a little nervous as a solo female traveller. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed, comfortable and safe.

The Akmani Legian's Classic room which I stayed in with my boyfriend for 6 nights was affordable as well as extremely comfortable. The room comes with a safe, large shower, fully air conditioned, large bathroom and fairy comfortable king bed. The staff are EXTREMELY polite, friendly and hospitable. Beds are made and towels replaced by staff every day which was lovely to come back to after a long day and they never touched any of our personal belongings. What a lovely place to stay. Is definitely not luxurious, but an authentic Balinese experience. Set on expansive grounds, each bungalow is in traditional style. You would have no idea that you are in the middle of Kuta. The pool is lovely and is cleaned daily. As it is not too deep, it can heat up throughout the day. The breakfast is basic but you would expect that at this price. It's a quick walk to the beach, laundry, restaurants and the new Beachside shopping mall, which pretty much replaces...
