"The villa was spacious and nicely decorated. 3 out of 4 bedrooms had bathrooms but the lack of en-suite for one of the upstairs rooms made the configuration a bit tricky with kids. Staff were friendly but communication wasn’t great with confusion around our booking and room requirements. Pool areas need a revamp - lots of loose and broken tiles. A little tired but overall well appointed and had an authentic Balinese feel. Pretty good value for money. "

"Very cozy villa, a bit old but really spacious and well designed. The staff there are amazing. They lend me the mosquito spray for free and give a late check out coz my flight is late at night. "

we stayed for 2 weeks and was very enjoyable . the staff was excellent. the rooms were clean.
the pool area was good, but is lacking a bar but they do have places where you press a button and someone will come and take your drink/food order.
they have pool towels that you need to sign in and out.
breakfast.. there’s always seats, not overcrowded . food was good but limited, only a couple things change each day. if you don’t go to have breakfast they will ring you to make sure you don’t...

A small friendly, funky, modern hotel. I was only there 4 nights but would definitely stay longer next time. Plenty of choice in restaurant menu and a buffet breakfast was included. Local restaurants not far in either direction. Staff were helpful and courteous and my room although smallish was fine for me as I was on my own. Very clean. The bed was fabulous and I would have loved to steal the pillows.

Location was great with numerous restaurants close by along with a mini mart over the road. Staff were fantastic, helpful and friendly. Rooms well appointed and clean. Pay extra for the pool access rooms, much more convenient.

We really loved The Visala. It is owned by locals which we liked. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a good selection. We also had a number of dinners and lunches there because not only was the food good it was very cheap for a hotel restaurant.
The location was good for us. Close to the beach. We even walked to Seminyak Square which was only about half an hour away. It was a lot longer getting back because I...

I chose it for its quirkiness and proximity to the Monkey Forest. The many interactions with monkeys may not be for everyone but it made my stay. You have to remember you can’t eat in your balcony or in my case drink black tea because you will get mugged. The pool is small but adequate for cooling off. They are replacing the bungalow’s roofs which is noisy but should be over soon. In reception there is water cooler to refill your water bottle which was big plus for me

We always stay here before our flight home - and have never actually stayed the night. The room and pool are great for a few hours of down time, or having last minute shopping delivered. The best bit for us is the free ride to the airport

My time at Swiss-Bellin Legian was a happy experience as a solo traveller I felt safe at all time and I was more than impressed with the cleanliness of all aspects of the hotel and the friendly yet proffessional manner in which was shown by all staff during my stay...
