Far from the centre of Rome (not a walking distance) but will provide a shuttle (w/ a charge) on an hourly interval. You can enjoy their outdoor pool if you decide to stay in the hotel as there is nowhere to go within walking distance. We have enjoyed our over all stay as we have experience the comfort and serenity, an escape from the busy centre of Rome.
Lovely hotel, clean, good facilities. Buffet breakfast fabulous and plenty of it. Restaurant good, a little pricey but Rome generally is! Pool clean, few more sunbeds wouldn't go a miss. 15 - 20 minute bus ride into the city, easy to use bus system and cheap. Would recommend and use again.
The hotel was lovely and welcoming. The room was clean, however we asked for a double bed and got one with two single beds pushed together, which was a little annoying to sleep in. We went in April and the patio is amazing, with a swimming pool that must be lovely in summer (it was drained during our holiday). Most of the staff was lovely. Location is great, Cornelia Metro is close by, great for links to central rome and main tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend for a short city break stay.

Loved this hotel. Really nice, great breakfast, nice comfortable room, safe. Awesome grounds. Hotel staff were EXCELLENT!! (except bar person - she was a bit snotty) but everyone else was great. The only real issue we had was with the bathroom, it smelled a bit, the longer we stayed there the worse it got. It was our own fault for not reporting it but in our defense, we were out of the hotel from morning to night. You noticed it everytime you used the loo though. My sister thought it smelled of urine, she thought in the drain perhaps. But please don't let this deter you, it was a very nice hotel. If your loo smells get them to fix it right away or change rooms.
I would definitely stay here again.
Oh, one more thing, it was a bit far out. We had to take a taxi everywhere, it got costly after awhile but still, it was a great hotel.
Good location if you're looking for somewhere away from the tourist hustle of the city centre. There is a metro stop within 5 minutes walk which takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the tourist attractions and the Vatican/St Peters is about a 30min walk.
We were given a small double bed rather then a twin which was annoying and the room itself was tiny although it did have a good sized balcony and a well appointed bathroom.
Room was cleaned and fresh towels etc daily although the cleaners did come round very early in the morning! Reception staff spoke good english and were helpful. Overall, a nice hotel but definitely rated a star too high at 4 stars.
It was a very nice hotel. The staff is very helpful, kind and they know and understand English very well. There is a smart TV in the room.
But it's location is far from the airport and hard to find its name on the building. That the hotel is in the vicinity of Vatican is the only advantage of its location.
This is a really nice hotel, clean rooms etc no real faults at all apart from 2 things
1 it's a 15minute walk to the last metro station, the second part is thro a badly lit industrial estate. Not ideal if your scared easily at night
2 there is another hotel in Rome called Hotel Ginerva which is miles from this one. This caused massive confusion with airport transfers and taxis. They all wanted to go to the other hotel as no one had heard of this one. So much so that we almost missed our flight home!
Encompassing in its folds part of the area next to the Vatican, the Aurelio neighborhood is known for being a residential haven away from the hustle and bustle of central Rome while still being connected to the heart of the city. The area's traditional restaurants, local shops, and neighborhood cafés bordering the piazzas make it the perfect place for an evening stroll.
