"Classy and hospitable with great comfort"
our last stay here was in 2010 and even after 6 years it remains classy and elegant. However there was some wear in the loveseat cushions. That was the only noticeable lack of elegance. The dining room is comfortable and food quality high. We were just disappointed that we were not able to dine at Le Pergola again since it was fully booked for a month. Reserving some spots for hotel guests would be appreciated in future. The staff is accommodating and pleasant. The quiet of the rooms Is appreciated. The free Daily shuttle service to Barberini is an excellent feature for accessibility to the city sights.

"Can't recommend it highly enough!"
Never have done a mobile home abroad but our UK sites could learn a lot. So clean everywhere. The staff can't do enough for you. Easy to find. Public transport marvellous. Shop well stocked. Cafe/bar & restaurant not expensive. Massive pool & plenty of sun beds with a lifeguard. Suits all ages. It's absolutely brilliant there!

"Great location for staying in Rome! "
Location was perfect & overall the hotel is a very good stay. Family room was fairly small with small niggles like the shower head was broken and wouldn't point over the shower. Staff were friendly & although our payment of room tax hadn't been recorded & so were asked for it again, the issue was resolved quickly. Good breakfast. Would stay again for location & price.

Shangri La Corsetti - Rome Hotels

Shangri La Corsetti

Viale Algeria 141, Rome - Map

"Shangri La - Not heaven, but good enough"
Reasonably priced, and a 10 minute walk from the Fermi Metro station - taking cabs into town will be expensive if you are staying for more than a couple of days. My room was in the garden annex, and there was a lot of traffic noise from 6am to 11pm. Clean, tidy and reasonably modern room, breakfast was limited to cereal, bread, cheese, ham and a selection of sweet cake. The only hot choice was a giant tray of scrambled egg, which appeared to be as old as the Colosseum. The onsite restaurant was expensive, the food was lackluster and the staff ignorant of you are not Italian. Allowing smoking inside the restaurant is unacceptable, but the Italians don't appear to care. Reasonable value for money - it was good enough for a business stay, but I'm not sure that my family would have been so happy.

B&B all’Orologio - Rome Hotels

B&B all’Orologio

Via Dei Banchi Nuovi 47, Rome - Map

"Good location; good for younger travellers"
The B&B is centrally located and would be good for younger travellers and families (since there are many stairs and no elevator). The room was not luxurious but was very functional and immaculately clean. The bathroom was small but well laid out. Lorenzo was well informed and he arranged for a car and driver to take us to the airport which worked like a charm. Roberta and Lorenzo were concerned hosts and communicated well with us. Since breakfast doesn't start until 8, this isn't good for early morning tours or folks who are leaving on early flights (unfortunately both pertained to us) but there is a small convenience store nearby so we bought supplies there. The breakfast was typically Italian and was adequate. The coffee was delicious (and plentiful). One minor point - city tax is paid in cash (I don't think we understood this at the outset). The first part of our stay in Italy was at a Tuscan villa so this no doubt coloured things - but this B&B is good value for $ in Rome.

Internazionale Domus - Rome Hotels

Internazionale Domus

Piazza di Spagna, 20, Rome - Map

"Great location"
Domus is ideally located next to the Spanish Steps. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The only issues we had were the beds were 2 singles joined to make a double and they moved around. The floor in the room makes noise when you walk on it and the hot water was temperamental in that it was really hot occasionally and warm most of he time. Taxis were not allowed to go to the front door so you will have to cart your luggage about 50 metres.
