Crowne Plaza Rome-St. Peter's Hotel & Spa

"Nice quiet hotel a bus ride from city centre"
The Crowne Plaza is very comfortable and good value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel nice and quiet. It's just a 20 min bus ride to central Rome (though be careful of pick pockets on crowded buses). The only disappointment was the food, which to be fair was a surprisingly common issue in Rome. We didn't have dinner there but breakfast was average (and poor if arriving late in the session) and out of hours room service poor. Despite this I's definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who prefers to avoid the noise of the city centre and get more for your money.

"Beautiful opulent hotel."
This hotel is superb. The staff are the highest calibre all the way through the organization. I got the feeling whilst staying here that nothing had ever been or indeed would ever be a problem. And if a problem ever was to occur, it would be sorted super quick. Beds were comfy, room was silent, bathroom spacious and made of marble, good sized balcony, room beautifully lit. You get the picture. Regular shuttle bus into Rome centre every hour with a break in service in the middle of the day. Nice swimming pool and spa, fabulous breakfast buffet. I could go on but I'll leave it there. We liked it very much and have no problem in recommending it.

"Good location close to Ostia Antica by local bus."
Location convenient to both Fiumicino Airport and Ostia Antica. Friendly, helpful staff who explained local bus usage and had bus passes available for purchase. Room was clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was excellent! Nice variety of breakfast foods available at 6a.m., as well as deliciously prepared bruschetta and pizza for dinner in the restaurant. The restaurant staff were courteous and were proud of the food they were serving. We enjoyed interacting with them. All in all, a most pleasant experience and well worth the price of the stay.

"Close to most."
This hotel is just far enough to get away from the hustle of Rome, just a 15 minute walk to Vatican and Pantheon, 10 minutes to Piazza Navona and Piazza Farnese and a 35 minute walk to Colosseum but you must know that everywhere in Rome the roads are paved with cobble stones making it a little harder to walk. We are in our sixties and walked until we dropped then grabbed a cab to get back to the hotel. The Hotel staff and room were great and the sites were greater and I can't think of anything else to review about the hotel.

"Hotel with a shuttle"
Far from the centre of Rome (not a walking distance) but will provide a shuttle (w/ a charge) on an hourly interval. You can enjoy their outdoor pool if you decide to stay in the hotel as there is nowhere to go within walking distance. We have enjoyed our over all stay as we have experience the comfort and serenity, an escape from the busy centre of Rome.

"Beautiful hotel across from Villa Borghese gardens"
Had a lovely stay in Rome at Parco dei Principi Grand Hotel. The hotel is a little out of the way from Via Veneto but in Rome, a little out of the way is a nice way to get away from the crowds. The hotel is across from the park and makes for beautiful views of the park and St. Peter's Basilica in the distance. All of the rooms have balconies which are an important criteria for our hotel selection. Also, the fitness center is a very nicely equipped full gym. The wifi was a bit spotty at times but the staff was helpful in assisting with alternate access.
