Lovely clean hotel very conviently situated to explore Rome. The bus runs from nearby, or a 30 minute walk past the Vatican and Castel St Angelo will get you into the centre of the City. Some lovely restaurants close by as well. The bar at the hotel was lovely, as was the roof garden with views of St Peter's Basilica. Breakfast was scrummy!!!
Clean, Cozy and spacious but noisy as my room was next to the road. To get to the city, can either take bus 64 or 916 (do check with the staff where is the bus stop), take about 15 to 20 mins. The breakfast is quite simple.
The world's smallest country, Vatican City is dominated by St Peter's, Christendom's largest church. Michelangelo's humbling 'Pietà' and his Sistine Chapel ceiling frescos are among the world's greatest works of art. The Aurelio area is named after the ancient Via Aurelia, the main road that connected Rome with Spain, and is convenient for visiting the city's sights.
