Getting around Vatican

If you want to get around the city, Ottaviano - San Pietro - Musei Vaticani Station is the closest metro stop. Others nearby include Cipro Station and Lepanto Station. To see the sights outside of town, hop aboard a train. Rome Valle Aurelia Station is the closet train station, but Rome Appiano Station and Rome S. Pietro Station are also nearby.

    Fabulous room and host. We only stayed for one night as an extension to our cruise. Walking distance from Vatican, great shops and restaurants. Sara was extremely kind, professional and accommodating. She emailed me right after I booked the room to get the details on our travel plans and make sure she could make arrangements to accommodate us in every way. She also scheduled transportation for us to the airport. We came to our room directly from our cruise ship with all our luggage in the morning. Luckily the room was ready early and Sara was kind enough to give us our room prior to normal check in so that we could leave our bags and go explore the city. Rooms were beautiful, modern, clean and very comfortable. Bear in mind this is not a full hotel but rather converted apartment rooms, so they are not going to have the full amenities of a hotel (fitness room, spa, room service, etc.). However the service was much better in my opinion because of the personal touch. We would absolutely stay here again when visiting Rome.…

    We really loved the character of this place, with high ceilings, parquet floors etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Located in a nice quiet area just by Lepanto metro station.
