"The rooftop bar has great view for breakfast. It's in great location if you don't want to deal with super tourisy vibe but still want convenience of being close to typical attractions."

"The hotel was okay for a short stay, but there were definitely some issues. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were very flat, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning also leaked whenever we set it below 22°C, which was frustrating because on hotter days we really needed the room cooler. On top of that, the walls/windows didn’t block much noise, so you could hear pretty much everything happening outside. That said, the staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which we appreciated. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby, and it’s only about a 10-minute walk to the Vatican, which is convenient. However, it feels a bit out of the way for most other attractions in Rome. Overall, it does the job if you just need somewhere to sleep, but it’s not somewhere I’d describe as particularly comfortable or great."

"This hotel is 150 years old and you can see the splendor it must have had way back in the marble stairs, columns and some hotel paintings on each floor. The location is excellent and the breakfast outstanding."

"Great location, just minutes walk to Vatican and the Metro. Tons of restaurants and shopping. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Our bed was nice and soft. Lots of nice hot water. Staff are very helpful. Only thing missing was an outdoor area to enjoy the wine we were given. Loved this place!"

"N/A on breakfast and AC. Our overall experience was fine. Our main problem was very slow drains in the bathroom sink and shower. The two shower doors were missing and we had to do our best to take a shower without getting a lot of water on the floor. This was very challenging and we did the best we could. We informed the front desk receptionist within the first 24 hours of our stay of the situation, but no maintenance was ever done. We stayed three nights and got through it. It is doubtful we would ever go back to this hotel. "
