Only gave us one key per room and after some of us being locked in the room because others had gone out and locked the room as ones staying were sleeping, they were locked in and had to yell for someone to let them out. We then asked for another key and were told they only have one. We told them it was a fire hazard for them to be locked in and when we said if there actually was a fire the people locked inside would die, he just looked at us and said ya. Wasn’t impressed with service but room was fine

Nightmare almost spent night on streets

Do not stay at this hotel!!! Reception closes early, rooms not on site, several blocks away No room service, other guests complained of bed bugs, tv did not work, bathroom tiny, no extra blankets Beware

Avoid this place!!! My wife her body had wounds day after. After checking the reviews about bedbugs, it was most probably that! Unbelievable that places like this are allowed to run! After hearing of no compensation from this place and Expedia, we will contact the city of Rome and the ministry of tourism to shut this place from the reason of public health, be sure about that!

You get worse that what you pay for

For the price, we didn't expect much, but they still managed to go lower than our expectations. Bathroom leak on carpet, a/c impossible to operate. We found someone doing work in the bathroom on our way back from a walk, without prior warning, very unprofessional and unsecure. Never again

I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel, especially if you're traveling all the way to Rome. On our very first day, we were met with several unacceptable issues: bugs in the room, dirty and marked walls, and a carpet with white stains that resembled bodily fluids. To make matters worse, the air conditioning system wasn’t working, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. We tried to contact reception but he didn’t answer his phone. Nor did he call back. He texted back 24 hours later My wife and I both felt extremely uneasy, and the surrounding area didn’t give us much peace of mind either. I couldn’t justify allowing my wife to stay in those conditions, so we left and checked into another hotel. What’s most disappointing is that the price we paid here was the same as what we later paid for a 4-star hotel, where the experience was night and day.

The building itself is beautiful. The elevator is old and dirty. Only one air conditioner worked out of 5. My family was very uncomfortable and hot. The bathroom was clean. Our Tv did not work. We don't recommend this place. It needs better signage because it was difficult to find.

This isn't a hotel rather an Airbnb type place with rooms to rent. Due to a "problem with the shower" we were allocated a room in another street. The quadruple room was ok with a fridge (was mostly clean but inches of dust on light fittings and behind TV) but the bathroom was mouldy and several fittings were damaged.

DO NOT EVER STAY HERE! THE PROPERTY IS NOT WHAT IS PICTURED ON EXPEDIA. I BOOKED IN FEB 2024, LUXURY SUITE. Do not stay here!

Awful experience from start to finish. Hotelier agreed alternative dates via email and reneged on the agreement forcing us to pay twice for a room. The room itself was cramped, stunk of smoke and was not clean. Air conditioning was noisey. Room was a good 10 minite walk away from the reception several blocks away.

This by far has to be one of the worst hotels they check you in at a location 7 or 10 blocks away from where they actually put you The description of the rooms are all lies their filthy the shower curtain literally was cut in half horizontally the mattresses were disgusting and stained there was bugs and mold everywhere the keys did not work in the lock I do not recommend this hotel too anyone please be careful when booking it's a scam

This is not a Hotel, is a floor in a building that rents room. I was send to another guess house 5 minutes away. The bathroom was not in the room. The main door lock was damaged it took about an hour to be fixed. There was only one outlet to far from the bed and no chair to sit. Main shower head would not work and the shower cristal door was dangerous faulty.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! We chose this place over many others beacuse we would be arriving after midnight and online they said 24 hour lobby. After telling management the time of our arrival they told us "our lobby is not open overnight but we will send you self check in instructions" Confused, we accepted it and waited for insturctions on how to check in. They sent us an electronic key to open the building that did not work. So my family was left stranded on the streets 2 am with nowhere to sleep. We called them multiple times to help us and got no answer. We had to go to 4 different hotels before we found a place to sleep. The next morning we texted them that we would be checking in after a tour we had already booked at 11 am. They said "no problem we open at 1 pm anyways" During our tour we recieved a text from the host saying our room is no longer available and lost the reservation. Frustrated we left our tour early to figure out what was going on since we booked this place for 3 nights. Once we got to the hotel and tried to check in, this disgustingly rude host got into verbal argument with us on how it was our fault we lost the reservation, how they never claimed to be open 24 hours, how we should have came earlier in the morning before 1 pm to check in. He even lied to us saying the hotel was completely booked and they had no space for us. His employees, who also seemed fed up with him, told him to stop arguing and that they would accommodate us. So they did have room for us

Pros: Close to St. Peter Basilica and very convenient to transit. - Staff/customer service is great. well in communication plus a bonus kind accommodation for extended check out. I give 5 star for that. Cons: The building is so old and creepy. We have to go to the other building for check in and the elevator is not that well. So old. Not equipped with automatic keycard but the old fashion physical keys. We arrived late night and we have to do like an amazing race to follow the instruction. Open the main building gate, to the property site, then to the room. We had a hard time figuring out to open the door going to our room. We were stock in the middle of the night outside. Thankfully, there are housekeeper in the other property and helped us to open the door. All good anyhow.

Great location of the area, needs a few fixes.

We had a couple of bad experiences on this day, but really liked the location and general room standard. A couple of easy fixes would be bulbs that didn’t work and clean mold in shower. However, the most stressful thing was arriving at 7:30 to find reception close and just a note telling you where you were and a big set of keys to access. A map would’ve been useful to indicate that we are in a different building in the different street to where we thought we’d booked. I’m checking out the receptionist was very helpful by email and I managed to pay the tax by leaving it along with emailing passport details. We had to do this as we were busy meeting friends on the other side of Rome and we’re leaving very early in the morning Location of our room was excellent, and I had accommodated my disability by putting me on the first floor, and there was a working lift. Just a few easy fixes to make this a great stay and it’s very close to the Vatican. Air-conditioner was very loud, and at one stage, spat out lumps of ice! All made for an interesting day. Have advised the hotel to leave a map, if they’re moving you without anybody present, and also a traffic light system on the bunch of keys to let you know which one you use first, second and third in the dark.

DONT BOOK THIS PLACE !!!

First we arrive and there was nobody in the reception. We found a note with a new address and some keys. We went to the address and had to carry all the luggage 3 block away from the location. We got to the room and it was disgusting. The AC was not working, the towels had holes, the bathroom had fungus and there was white powder in the desk. I call the manage and he didn't answer. So we had to stay the night because it was already 12 midnight. We went to a meeting in the morning and after that I went to the reception and told them about the room. We tried to contact the property manager both the receptionist Federico and me and he didn't answer. I went and got another hotel cheaper then that one and much nicer 2 block from there and turn in the room to the receptionist telling them I want a refund for my room. They of course denied refund. Please dont book this place for your own peace of mind and health because its not sanatize and you wont get help from the owner.
