Glenn and Mike were both fantastic at breakfast. Glenn was full of sights and information, and Mike was just spot on pleasant. On our last day after check-out, Fredrico stood with us in the rain until we got a cab to the airport. It was a wonderful stay!

Stayed in the main building for four nights. The staff was friendly and the room was good. Didn’t have any issues while I was there. It is a basic room, nothing extravagant. It was in a great spot, within walking distance to pretty much everything.

Staff were lovely and keen to give recommendations. Hotel is in a good location and rooms were a good standard. You do need cash to pay the city taxes so just make sure you have a bit on arrival, they were fine with us paying it at checkout as we didn’t have cash when we first got there. Nice spot for a base.

Great location for history and shopping

Hotel was in an excellent location for historical sites and high end shopping and restaurants. Service was friendly and the breakfast was great. Only complaint is the WiFi did not work at all if your room is on an upper floor and we had to sit in the lobby to get access.

We had a deluxe room and the room had 2 windows and 2 little balcony’s at the 5th floor. We had the most marvelous view from there. All was fresh and clean, a beautiful bathroom too. They served a good breakfast and they had a gluten-free alternative which made me happy. Very kind and friendly staff too. The only minus was the hard beds. I’ll recommend it to anyone.

Our stay was fantastic. Hotel 55 sits directly on Via Del Corsa, one of the main walking streets in old Rome. All of the main sight seeing sites are within walking distance. Hotel 55 staff are great. Providing help with taxis, attractions etc. Edwin the bar tender rocks! We will stay there again next time we’re in Rome Ciao!

Just spent a week at this hotel. The location was great in between so many famous landmarks. Staff was friendly, polite. Room was great, we had plenty of space with a large bathroom and great shower. Would highly recommend. We upgraded to the second level room which is probably why we had lots of space.
