We loved our stay at this hotel! Great location, walking distance to most attractions. The rooms are cute and quite clean.very quiet at night. Breakfast included pastries, fruits, and decent coffee. Overall, a very pleasant stay — I would definitely come back in the future.

A lovely small and friendly hotel in a great location. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The care with which they treated my daughter's nut allergy was outstanding. Good value for the price point. Would recommend.

This place was not only great, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They offered to hold our bags after checkout so we could further explore the city while we waited for our train. When we came back they treated us like guests still, offering us water and the facilities for as long as we needed. They had very helpful tips on places to dine also. Great location also.

Hotel was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was very small, and the shower would not stay a consistent temperature, turning hot, then cold, then back to hot whenever it wanted to. Breakfast was good, but not great. Location was convenient.

yes the shops were close. room was clean . the 2 ladies at the desk were awesome so was the young man and the man working at the breakfast room. air conditioner was fine. over all we had a great experience at your hotel.

Excellent stay!

As soon as i entered the hotel I knew this would be an excellent experience. Pamela at check in was extremely patient and helpful, offering to store my bags before I accessed the room and contacting me when the room was ready as I was out exploring Rome. The room was perfect and as advertised, and the facilities felt luxurious. I decided to have breakfast the next day, turning up earlier than I should have but was accommodated nevertheless. And the breakfast offering was delicious too! The staff member who was serving was also excellent. I’m sad I was only there for one night. I can’t wait to cone back!

Great stay in Rome

Using online resources can be a challenge in Italy. We got excellent help from Leticia at the front desk when navigating some of those issues such as purchasing tickets. Aside from that, the location is just perfect with easy access to public transportation and often in walking distance to many of Rome's great attractions.

The hotel is a block away from public transport, which was very convenient. It was clean and quiet and very helpful staff. We asked Nicolo for restaurant recommendations and both that we tried were excellent (and close). Beautiful rooftop, elevator to rooms, and good size rooms. Worth it!

The hotel had amazing staff; very welcoming and helpful. I accidently left my airpods in the room and had already left the city but I called the hotel and they had them in the safe for me. I was able to pick them up the following week when I returned. Can't thank them enough! The hotel is a convenient 5 minute walk or less to the metro. It is close to trevi fountain however that area feels a bit unsafe walking at night. There are beggars in the area. The hotel is clean and the staff is amazing.

Great place to stay

The Barberini Retreat has only been open for a month. Our stay began when Nicholas welcomed us at 10 AM We were very early and very tired. He took us up to the roof top breakfast area, told us to enjoy the food and coffee. When our room was ready ( not very long) he got our luggage sent up and invited us to check in way early. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast and coffee were great. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Well located for walking to the sights if you’re a hiker like us. Also the subway is a short walk away. Lots of nice restaurants and shops in the area.

We stayed at the property as the first guests after their renovations, and so the staff were working around contractors and work being done. This did not impact us as guests all, however it would have been good to know that this facility was “brand new” when we were booking. We requested a twin room, and arrived to a double - this was rectified the next day and it seems to be the way that twin beds, even though made up separately, are very close together, basically touching, which wouldn’t be ideal for some guests. We had an issue with the air conditioning (it didn’t work) however the staff were very friendly, helpful and could not have done more to make us comfortable during our stay. I’d say once they have all their rooms and systems up and running, they’ll have a great little hotel. It’s so close to the Barberini Metro station, many great little coffee/sandwich places and if you forget anything, there’s a little market across the street that sells literally EVERYTHING!!
