“Great value for money!”
This is one of the cheapest hotels I have found in the area but don't let that put you off. Ok so it's no marriot but it's clean, well maintained and the staff are cheerful and willing to help. There's a kettle in the room which is a bonus in my opinion. If you just want a decent place to sleep, no frills and excellent value then look no further.
“Good value pleasant hotel in a safe area”
I thought this was good value for money. It's in a quiet residential area which seemed very respectable, and although it's a 10-15 minute walk from the station, I felt quite safe about returning at night alone - it's mostly a main road from the station, past places that are still open, and then passing very nice houses, with plenty of traffic around. The tube/overground journey is a bit tedious, but it's cheaper than a central London hotel on a Friday during summer. I had a nice double room all to myself in the annex, which was probably quieter than in the main building, which is open to the public. I used a separate entrance, which was simpler at night. The rubber non slip bath mat was a nice extra! Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. I would use this hotel again when central London prices are too high.
“Fantastic place, will not hesitate to go again.”
Nice reception, friendly workers and very polite. Well recomended, 110% Satisfaction.
“Comfortable Base”
I was dealt with pleasantly and efficiently. My room was ready and clean.
“Very good quality hotel, room clean, sizeable and good layout. Very good location.”
All you need for a stay in London, very good quality room with excellent location, being close to metropolitan line for fast access to central London.
“Nice place”
Hotel was very nice for the price. (Except the creeking floors). Decent location. Very helpful staff. Quiet location.
“A decent place for a nice price”
I was looking for a cheap but nice hotel and I found it. It is a 30 minute tube ride (assuming the circle line isn't closed) from central London, which I guess is quite a bit if you're travelling here for the first time. The only problems I ran into with this hotel was the maintenance in the bathroom. In our first room the toilet didn't work and in the second the shower barely worked. They need to step it up and fix these things, because other than that it's a really nice place if you don't mind staying really far from the tourist attractions. In case you were wondering, besides a little street with a bunch of shops and pubs, there's nothing to see in Harrow.
“Very pleased”
The staff were all very helpful and courteous. The room was very comfortable with plenty of space. Breakfast was a bit pricey, though, and there wasn't much for vegetarians on the dinner menu. However, it's a short walk to the centre of town. Overall I was very pleased.
“Comfort Harrow”
I booked this hotel based in part on the reviews above. The special price i got also helped. The hotel is a little dated - the decor could benifit from renewal and some of the floors are very creaky which did become annoying when trying to sleep or moving around. We had to ask for an extra blanket as the room was a little chilly (visited in cold weekend in January). Bathroom a little scruffy but the shower had good pressure and lots of very hot water. HOWEVER, the huge plus to this hotel is the FREE PARKING and proximity to TWO underground (tube) stations with access to London. Northwick Park is on the Metro line with Kenton on the Bakerloo line. An all day ticket for Zone 1-4 is sufficient to see all the sights in Central London. Its about 10 mins walk to the stations and about 50 mins into London. I'd certainly stay here again, without doubt.
“Great bargain, close to London”
I was impressed with the location of this hotel...it was 5-10 minute walking ditance to an Underground Station and had a free car parking area and was in a nice quiet residential area out of the London Congestion Zone. The rooms were pleasant, clean, and good sized with a full bathtub and roomy bathroom stocked with lovely toiletries/soaps and plush bath towels. Hotel front desk talked us into the English Breakfast for 8 pounds (about $16) which was good & hearty, but we found plenty of eating establishments the following day for alot cheaper. Bring a clock....there are no clock radios in the room and not much in the way of a channel lineup on TV...but who cares...you are in London! The only complaint myself and my friends had was that it was rather stuffy and warm in our rooms the first night. After we opened the windows and turned off the radiators, we were satisfied. I highly recommend the Comfort Harrow, UK and just might even stay there again!
