Clean room, comfy bed. Lovely view over the Tweed Heads River. Public transport an extra convenience.

The room was clean but an over powered smell of bleach made me nauseous and unwell for the first two nights. I left the window open to air the room out which was not conducive to a pleasant stay. The construction in the car park was inconvenient as it made parking difficult and hard to go in and out of the property with cars crammed in every where.

I’d keep the criticism clear but measured, especially since you’d still rate it 4.75/5. Something like: The hotel is beautiful—the property is absolutely gorgeous, and my room was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. The staff overall were friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed my stay. The biggest disappointment was check-in. After traveling for nearly 20 hours, I had made a substantial request in advance for an early check-in, but unfortunately still had to wait about 3½ hours for my room. At that point, all I really wanted was to shower and settle in. Thankfully, there are several beautiful areas around the property where I was able to relax while I waited. I also found some of the restaurant service a little quirky. Food would be delivered without anyone returning to check whether everything was correct or if anything else was needed. At breakfast, I was asked to choose between ordering from the menu or having the buffet before I had even been seated or had a chance to see what was offered on the buffet, which struck me as a little odd. Those details aside, this is a stunning property and I had a very good experience overall. I’d give my stay a 4.75 out of 5 and would absolutely consider staying again.

Newly renovated, lots of nice natural light. Big deep bath and comfortable bedding. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great place to stay. Very comfortable, modern cabin with everything provided. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Was much quieter than I anticipated. Absolute bonuses: an upgrade and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.
