We stayed here for 3 nights after travelling down for a wedding. The staff are excellent, the hotel is clean and fresh, not dated and used feeling. We could walk to the town centre and to the nearby shopping centre easily. Our room was spacious and so was the bathroom and very clean. I found the bed too hard for my liking but I find this fairly often - perhaps a mattress topper offering would be good? The hotel is well located - one could walk to a very good Indian restaurant for dinner and there were other choices as well as the hotel's own restaurant. It also backs onto a local park which was pleasant but please note that the local bird life likes the trees there. So you have some dawn singing if you don't keep the windows closed.
