Vail Village

Inspired by European alpine villages, Vail Village captivates visitors with its cobblestone streets and charming car-free atmosphere. Gondola One whisks skiers directly to Vail's legendary slopes in winter. Betty Ford Alpine Gardens adds natural beauty to this mountain paradise. The village balances luxury amenities with authentic alpine character for a quintessential Rocky Mountain experience.

Lionshead

Lionshead is a car-free alpine haven at the base of Vail Mountain. This upscale pedestrian village offers direct access to world-class ski slopes via the Eagle Bahn Gondola. The charming cobblestone walkways connect luxury boutiques, fine dining spots, and sophisticated après-ski lounges. Pine forests surround luxury holiday rentals and condos, creating a serene alternative to bustling Vail Village. Holiday rentals with full kitchens provide more space and value than resort accommodation. Enjoy easy access to hiking trails and Gore Creek's natural beauty without the resort crowds.

Matterhorn Village

This pedestrian-friendly zone features Bavarian-inspired architecture with heated cobblestone walkways winding past luxury boutiques and gourmet restaurants. The iconic clock tower anchors this upscale winter wonderland where visitors enjoy direct ski-in/ski-out access. Sophisticated après-ski lounges offer refined cocktails with stunning mountain views. "Sleek. Great for amenities - sauna, steam, workouts etc. full gym to the nines. Nice staff/ nicer dogs. Downfalls: parking costs, dog stains on room carpet (pet friendly), and everything closes early (amenities and restaurant/bar). If you have a pet, are early to bed and rise and don’t want to miss working out on the go/ this is the place for you. Also very convenient location."

"We loved our stay here. Very charming lodge. Pleasant and kind staff. They even let us check in early. We could walk everywhere in Vail Village and ~ 10-15 minutes to Lionshead. Great restaurants and shopping close by. Parking was $25/day off season and directly across from the lodge. The pool was clean and the water was warm. Relaxing. Only note is that the bar was closed and breakfast was not available during our stay. Think they said no breakfast off season and the bartender was on vacation. Regardless, we enjoyed and will stay again. Thank you!"
