Torrance is a relatively quiet SoCal seaside hub, home to museums, family parks, surf spots, great eateries and craft breweries. It marks the start of “The Strand,” SoCal’s scenic coastal bike path, where barefooted locals with surfboards under their arm cross regularly. Most of Torrance’s parks have sports courts, playgrounds, barbecues and fitness paths. The Del Amo Fashion Centre, Western Museum of Flight or Torrance Art Museum are great places when you need a break from the heat.
