"Great LA Spot"
I have always been a Westin fan and now I include Hyatt in my favorite brands. This hotel is centrally located and across the street is a Westfield mall which gphas a variety of restaurants and a food market for convenience. The hotel vibe is very hip and fun-totally LA. The rooms are nice and each has a lanai so you can get fresh air and sit outside in privacy. There is a beautiful pool and the staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating. The only downside is that there is no hotel fitness center but you can go to Equinox for $25/day. A little pricey. But I travel with a TRX system (small, lightweight, effective) and the hotel will bring a yoga mat to your room at no charge.

"Not exactly what I hoped for"
The bed was very comfy. Not enough light in the room but it seems to be a California thing. It being so dim makes you wonder is it to cover up the lack of cleanliness like in the elevator. Shower was huge, could use a bench. Just a little disappointed for the price. Nice touch on the earbuds & understood why they were supplied & needed.

"comfortable stay"
At first I have an one night stay. But after I checked in and I realized that I should stay here instead of going to Santa Monica. So, I cancelled a Hotel in Santa Monica and extended to stay this Hotel. Also, this Hotel has own spa which included steam and dry sauna with Jacuzzi for female only. If you are hotel guest, you can use $18 (I believe...). Transportation, there is a Little Tokyo Station which gold line from Union Station. Walk for around 2 minutes from the station. There are Japanese super near here such as NIJIYA and MARUKAI. You can buy food and drink there and eat in the room comfortably. I will stay here again when I come LA again.
