Close by to resturants, pubs, foodworks and coffee shops and straight across the road to Newcastle Beach. We parked our car in the undercover carpark and did not move it until we were leaving."

"Rydges Newscasts is a beautiful modern hotel, central to everything on the waterfront. I had a free night to use that covered the stay and it was a wonderful treat. Our room was a suite on level 3, beautifully appointed with an outlook over the harbour. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the restaurant with a happy hour between 4 to 6 that had a variety of affordable beer, wine and cocktails to select. in the hotel, valet parking was $35. All hotel staff were professional, helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend for a special occasion. "
