Little National Hotel Newcastle

Little National Hotel Newcastle

10/10 Excellent
"I would have to say the Newcastle Little National Hotel would be hard to beat. As soon as you step foot into the foyer for check in you're instantly hit with this alluring aroma. I think they must have some signature essential oil or candles - because they had the same thing in the Canberra branch too. The room itself is unique. It appears small because of the design. But quickly you realise it has a very modern and sustainable feel about it. Quite cleverly implemented. The humongous bed spans wall to wall and one side is also adjacent to the enormous window creating a visual sense of large space. There was a welcome tray of tea essentials and cupboard containing more tea varieties with an espresso maker and pods. Bar fridge contained complimentary milk, as well as oat and almond milk for those who prefer non dairy. Bathroom and amenities are all top notch. Electric blinds and curtains with custom room temperature control and LED lighting all made for a very luxurious stay. Room was exceptionally clean and lastly I cannot forget the comfort level of the bed and pillows. I don't remember the last time I slept so restfully. The mattress was second to none. And the pillows, my absolute favourite. They had 6 large pillows ranging from small to large. Whoever was in charge of design really thought of comfort 101. There is no other, in my opinion, of pure pillow indulgence. I'll be back again. Love staying here."
