"This is the hotel that has the fabulous facilities. The hot tub and pool were amazing. The staff was very accommodating, especially with making sure that we had a room that we could use with my wheelchair. The kitchen was well equipped and very clean. Everything here was great, especially being close to Nelson Bay."

"Great stay! Room was clean and the mattress was one of the most comfortable I’ve stayed on (I travel a fair bit). AC worked very well and flowed into both rooms. Pool is not heated, large spa was great but overcrowded by unsupervised children."

Mantra Nelson Bay

"We loved staying here -- it has lots of room for a family of four and my son didn't want to leave! Located in the town center of Nelson Bay, it is also only a few minutes' walk to Woolworths and the other shops. Our apartment was nice and clean and had a good ambience. Furniture had a little wear and tear, but it was acceptable. Rooms were of a good size and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very large and had everything we needed. We had a laundry and an ensuite which was very nice. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of downsides: the wifi was very slow and in fact failed one evening and the wifi network seemed to drop out of existence! Secondly, because it's a pool view apartment, we got a bit of noise from the activity in the pool - these are both minor complaints though as the pool is closed before it gets too late and we have our mobile phones for internet anyway. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we will stay here again next time we're in Nelson Bay. I can recommend it."

"We enjoyed our break in Hawk’s Nest. The location was perfect. The house was spacious and well equipped. We appreciated the coffee machine and the wifi was to the teenager’s standards :). We loved our morning and afternoon walks around the Winda Woppa area. Thanks for a great stay Anna!"
