"Super friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast with lots of choices, and the location is perfect — everything’s within walking distance.
The only disappointment was the SPA. The hotel name and even Expedia advertise it as a “Hotel & SPA,” but it turns out you have to pay extra to use it. It would be much nicer if the price was just a bit higher and included the spa, so guests wouldn’t have that awkward surprise. After all, the name does say “Hotel Wellington Hotel & SPA,” right?"

"Great value for money. Walkable from Retiro Park and very close to Atocha Metro station which is a couple of stops away from the city center. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the bathroom utilities.
My only feedback is that my wife was sick as she is pregnant so we were a few minutes late for breakfast. We understand that we could not be served in the cafeteria however requested if we could takeaway some readymade breakfast items at least but were told no. "
