"I have had a lovely stay at Bay and Basin Hotel. The room was cosy and warm with facilities to heat a meal or make a cup of tea or coffee. At night, after a lovely hot shower, I snuggled into bed and watched the large screen tv and it was so quiet outside. I felt very secure but close to everything. "The place was very nice, if old. Beautifully decorated and had almost anything you could want. However I found the amount of information required for booking tedious and over the top for a two day stay. Also it was very cold largely because the window coverings were inadequate so the heat just went straight out the window and I could really have done with an electric blanket."

"The house was beautiful, having everything we needed! It was so great that I could bring my dogs with me who absolutely loved going to Nelson’s beach each day (walking distance) and exploring many of the other dog friendly walks in the area! We will definitely be back, and would highly recommend this property. "

"Great location, very close to the beach and easy to walk to. Home felt newly renovated bathrooms were clean. Kitchen was decently stocked with utensils and plates/cups etc. Nice open windows but if you want to sleep in, just FYI the wooden Venetian blinds do let some light through. Good if you want to wake up early!Went during Easter so the internet was a little slow but that's because there's more people down there, lucky we brought some board games anyway to entertain ourselves.Also make sure you turn on the switch for the hot water too as it runs on solar and might run out after a few people showering. Had to put a 1000 bond through direct deposit which seemed a little steep (it is mentioned before during booking) but that was returned promptly after confirming check out.Jervis Bay area was lovely hope to come back to the area soon. "

"This is the third time we have stayed in this great house. We love the location across from the beach and enjoyed the new stove and the new mattress in the main bedroom!There were problems opening the front door on arrival - fortunately a neighbour used brute force to get the key to work on the fly-wire door at the entrance.So all good after that delay to beginning our lovely two weeks there."
