"The resort was mostly quiet and not overly crowded while I was there, which I appreciated. However, they were very pushy about the Hyatt Unlimited Club even after being told no multiple times. It basically felt like being pressured into a prepaid timeshare presentation when most people are just trying to enjoy their vacation — especially while traveling with a toddler and in this economy. I also felt like some amenities weren’t properly explained or met, such as the free bag and room service timing. Another downside was how badly people hoarded pool chairs. It was hard to find somewhere to sit or even place our belongings, even when many chairs clearly weren’t being actively used. There were also a few moments where other guests became overly loud in areas that were otherwise calm and relaxing. Overall, the resort was decent, but there were a few things that took away from the experience."

"We had the privilege upgrade which was 100% worth it. We had a great experience every time we ate at the privilege lounge, every interaction was the best, they do their best to provide you with the best service, Manuel was our waiter most of the time, he was amazing every single time. Pedro, the manager of the restaurant always makes sure you are receiving the best possible treatment. Out butler, Ariz, was great as well, always available with the best attitude to help. Belen from privilege Lounge, Antonio from the pool bar, Lizbeth the pool waitress, Jorge from the privilege office and Ronaldo from the Italian reataurant were all amazing. The food at this resort was great, the cleaning service always had the areas spotless, and the convenience of having everything closed by made our stay the perfect family vacation."

"My stay was amazing, I was initially in a room that the AC didn’t work and I was given the option to upgrade to a suite at a good discount which I took and had access to all the amenities. Aylin was a perfect host and made sure my stay was perfect. All the staff were nice, professional and catered to my needs. I would definitely stay here again."

"Well after ready reviews we went Privilege and it was a good thing we did . If you don't have it , good luck getting dinner reservations . Being Privilege we were treated very good and our butler Carlos was great . We spent half our time in the Privilege pool and at other pools , and service there was pretty fast . We had breakfast service at Privilege lounge but did try the Buffet as well , it was OK , as was dinner there , did that once , but we loved the lunch buffet they had . The variety - Italian -, pastas and pizza - Indian - curry's that were great and not hot , you added the heat - Mexican , good ! and an array of other stuff . The vanilla ice cream was amazing there . The Teppanyaki is fun , same script as every resort . The a la cart meals were good . Raccoons , lots of raccoons ! Room service was good , A/C was good . We have been to resorts that have mor going on so this seemed bit a bit low key but we enjoyed our time ."

"✅ THE GOOD The property was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean, and while the shower pressure was just okay, we had no complaints about the accommodations. The evening shows were entertaining and a nice way to wind down. The drinks were fine, nothing special. The Italian restaurant was by far our favourite. The location is a major plus. You're just a short walk from 5th Avenue, which is vibrant and perfect for an evening stroll. ❌ THE NOT-SO-GOOD The food at the main buffet and most restaurants left something to be desired. The menu caters heavily to an American palate, which may or may not suit you. The Italian restaurant was the clear exception. The biggest thing to know before booking: THERE IS NO BEACH. The waterfront is rocky, and if a sandy beach is on your must-have list, look elsewhere. Pool chairs are another frustration. Guests stake their claim before 8am, and the staff does nothing to enforce a fair-use policy. Good luck getting a lounger if you sleep in. The resort's vibe feels more like a retirement community. If you're looking for a lively, energetic resort vibe, this likely isn't your spot. Bottom line: Great if you want a clean, relaxed base near 5th Avenue. Not great if you want a beach, a variety of delicious food, or a more dynamic atmosphere."
