Great modern and well maintained hotel.
Just mentioning in case the hotel staff read this. Only negative was the tray with kettle and tea/coffee/hot chocolate etc. was placed in a shelf without a power point. It was strange to have to lift the large tray and move it to the desk next to the power point. I relocated the hotel directory to a higher shelf.

From arrival we were really impressed with this place.
The lady greeting us and showing us to our room, was lovely and made us feel welcome from the outset.
I’m not sure if this lady is the owner, but she was always busy and appeared to show genuine concern that guests needs were being taken care of.
Room was large and comfortable, with all amenities required.
Attached bar/ restaurant was comfortable and served a range of well priced meals and drinks.
We didn’t use it, but the outside dining...

Clean, spacious and comfortable bed. Perfect for our city stay. Close to railway and town. Be wary if you have bad hips or knees as the bath shower combo is difficult. The bath side was very high and bath bottom very slippery. I’m surprised no accidents have occurred. I found it daunting and needed my husband’s help to get in and out. I believe they do have rooms with walk in showers, which sadly I was not aware of when I booked. Other than that issue it was perfect for our needs.
