"The rooms were clean and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were delicious.We specially liked the cosy lounge area where we could have a cup of coffee. "Actually good value if you accept the tatami style bedding. Only problem is that going out of the room to the shared toilets and showers can be freezing as the common areas are not yeated. Hotel looks old. But it was in the centre of Ina, and had good free parking. Room we got for 5 pax was relatively cheap."

"We dropped our bags in the morning to hold until checkin. We asked about the local bus, & the one man who spoke English said the ONLY way to ride the bus was to buy a 2-day pass. "The house itself is beautiful but all around it is extremely badly taking care of. The yard is a mess, the grass high, and just next to some run down green houses. "Staff were great, especially Yoko as she spoke English and was able to help with requests. One source of stress was having to pay in cash if you elect to pay at the accommodation. This should be made clear when booking. We would have happily paid by credit card in advance had it been made clear. No one from overseas carries that kind of cash. The ryokan should be encouraged to adjust their "rule" and take credit cards."
