"Beautiful pools, the water was warm with so much space for everyone to enjoy. The property is huge however and it’s a fair way to walk from the room to anywhere really. It would also be nicer if there were more things for the kids to do and evening activities to make it more lively."

"Absolute bliss is right! We had a heavenly stay here—the house was spacious enough for all of us to stay together without feeling like we were crowded, but still felt cozy. We all loved the relaxed, calm vibe of the house and the location—exactly what we had hoped for.Newell is a perfect base for SO many adventures nearby. We got to see and do so much every day, and still had time to relax on the gorgeous back porch and in the lovely pool. The property itself feels very private, but has a nice grocery store minutes away by car, and a delicious takeaway minutes away by foot! Annie and Stuart were great communicators and made us feel right at home with all the amenities—a kitchen well stocked with tools, a laundry room, and even books, toys, and games for quieter moments. "Very pretty property in a very secluded beautiful wooded location. The owner is an extremely nice person that has gone through recent tragedy in life and all support is appreciated. The property has a hippy vibe. It is not far from the town of Port Douglas but will be a 15 minute drive. The owner has two Australian Cattle Dogs (Blue Heelers) that are extremely friendly, beautiful, and very intetilligent. They are quite fun to play with."
