"I loved the food at the Don Rafael buffet. The staff at this resort were amazing and friendly. The entertainment was great, I just wish there had been more nights like the salsa dancing night rather than American-ized music most nights, but I understand they probably get more crowd engagement with American music. "

"Liked staff were friendly and willing to help you if you needed any assistance. 2 formal sitdown resturants have excellent food and 1 average buffet could have some upgraded features. Maybe 1 more formal restaurant should be added for better availability because you can't always get a reservaton on 1st try. Outdoor grills are great with excellent food. Room service except for our last moring was slow to deliver told 40 to 45 min but mostly took 1 hour to 1 1/2 hr. Food was cold but thank goodness we had a microwave. Contents were messed up a little example ordered lg black coffee got smaller pot with 1 cup next time received a packet of 4 cups & saucers, sometimes you got saucers sometimes not. Ordered a breakfast full meal plus an order of yogurt, sausage & fruit for another person got no plate to eat anything on. Sometimes silverware for 2 sometimes only 1 with just a knife and a fork for 2. Limited selection of food. Again glad we had mini kitchen in unit. No omelets/waffles on breakfast RS menu. Could go to buffet and get an omlet but was told we could not bring up to the room. Pizza and burgers not a formal dinner to enjoy a meat/potatoe/vegetables/desert meal in your room or a evening special beach dinner. No better dinner meals to select from but bucket meals of chicken etc were available for families & groups. Nice feature for larger group or a family. Beach needs some kind of a redo investment to improve the walkability by removing palm stumps and wood hazads."

"The property was great, we had a great time as a family. Our kids loved being able to eat cupcakes at all times of the day! The lattes were great too! The property was very big, lots of walking. It would have been nice for the shuttle to run more often especially during busy times like morning, late afternoon and evenings. We enjoyed the bikes to go off property. And loved our 2hrs of pickleball every morning. Our group had people age 1 to 76 and everyone had a great time."

"Beautiful. Yummy food and drinks. Close to so much! Loved being able to walk and explore. Smaller resort which is nice, you never felt crowded or had to wait for a table. If I had it to do over i would have waited to book excursions through them, they made it so easy. The beach bar was fun and just far enough away you felt like you were in a different space. I don't love seafood, so I didnt try the sushi bar, but I heard good things. I wish the main pool had a swim up bar. Nowhere to get a drink before 11:00am. Really my only real complaint was It was so loud, felt like maybe the walls were too thin. You could hear everything happening outside your room. "

"I came here for my husbands 40th birthday and it was a surprise and we definitely had a great time the staff was very friendly and attentive and made sure we had reservations to the restaurants for dinner and they sent bottles of wine and champagne to our room with cake they checked on us daily to see if we needed anything it was a great experience I booked a room in the enclave so it came with special perks like the lounge a certain pool area and the check in process was very smooth didn’t have to do anything with the front desk they welcomed us with a cold towel because it was very hot in Mexico I would definitely recommend and go back I would recommend more activities they had a few but definitely could of been more and longer times to entertain the guest "
