Amazing for families our boys loved the water slides and pools. Cafe was really nice so were the staff. Room was clean but needed some work unsafe power points, carpets were stained and some curtains. Definitely would recommend and stay here again.

My sons very expensive headphones $600 were stolen from the pool area and never recovered. That was disappointing. I’m sure there was cameras in the pool area and the staff advised they could not look at the footage but had to wait for the police to look at footage we never heard any thing.

We have stayed at Turtle Beach Resort several times over the years and have been very happy but unfortunately the standards have seemed to have gone down and we will probably not go to Turtle Beach Resort again. Just to name a couple of things walking to the deck to get some food of a evening many of the lights were out on the paths which I found dangerous. The Adult pool which we have used over the years and had been policed to keep children out did not happen this year every day there were families of kids in the pool and spa did not worry about the signs saying adults only. When we arrived had to stand in line and wait to be given our keys only one person on the counter except there were two other persons talking only a couple of feet away. We have an autistic grandson and over the years he has gone to the kids club with his older brother to help supervise to give my daughter a break for a couple of hours but this time because his older brother is now 13 he was not allowed to enter the kids club to help with his brother plus they did not wish to take our autistic grandson very disappointing. As I mentioned standards have gone down used to live going to Turtle Beach Resort but this was our last time.

The outdoor facilities for adult and children are fantastic. We would return to the resort just for the children's pool and kid's club activities. However, the room was not very clean, light bulbs were required and the washing machine with the hotel linen being washed, broke during our 48 hour stay. When we asked for a clean set of sheets, reception refused to deliver any without a charge although sent facilities to fix the machine. We had to wait for the staff to look at the problem and then replace the machine with the wet linen still left for us to wash and dry. The facilities staff were apologetic however this could have been easily fixed with a clean set of sheets and spending the time to fix the machine or replace it the next day when we had checked out.

The facilities are great for kids but the condition of the room was average. The kids beds were broken, as were the ironing board and washing machine. The oven did not work. The cleaner came in at the start of the second week which was lovely- except they left all the dirty linen at the front door for 4 days despite multiple requests for it to be moved.

This is a great resort for families. My son and his family had booked there so I did too and it was perfect for young children. The pools are awesome and having a cafe in the middle of them was super good. Only downside for me was being on the 3rd floor with no lifts, it made getting luggage up and down very difficult

We love the pools, the restaurant was amazing every night and great value. The only let down was that the rooms and in particular the bathrooms need updating/repair.

Overall property is very good if you are with kids. However, two important things to note is, there is no lift so if you get the one in 3rd floor, it’s pain to move all the luggage’s. Second thing, driving on the right lane inside the car port. This always creates confusion and hence go really slow. Apart from these, the property is excellent and plenty of staffs to looks after everything. Will visit again.

The room was great, well equipped and family friendly. It included all the little extra things to make it really comfortable for families. Example, washer and dryer in the room, clothes horse, vacuum, dvd player, well equipped kitchen including, dishwasher, microwave, oven/stove, plastic plates and cups for little kids. Woolies metro is not far to stock up on supplies, walking distance. Nice view of the pool area with lot of beautiful tropical trees and landscaping. Kids loved the pool and splash pad, although water in Splash Pad was a lot colder, something to be mindful of with time of year you stay. Negative is that the resort has a lot of stairs, including getting up to your room. This is something to be mindful of when packing and navigating around the resort with a stroller. Getting all the luggage our family had, including a large heavy suitcase up a number of stairs wasn’t much fun for my husband when we first arrived. Room had a washer and dryer, so if I was to stay again, I wouldn’t need to pack as much. The food at The Deck was a bit hit and miss. The wood fire pizza was nice, although other food we had ordered wasn’t that great and also considering the price. The playground for little ones probably needs some improving as kids were not interested and the games room didn’t really have much at all. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves there.

Very disappointed in our stay. Very old and overpriced for what it is. The beds were very old and uncomfortable. The pull-out trundle kept collapsing underneath us, there were cockroaches scattering whenever the lights were turned on, floors dirty, bathroom mouldy. The grounds need revamping. We won’t be returning.

Loved the back to back rooms,very spacious rooms .Washing machine and dryers in the bathroom very convenient . Easy access to pools and dining area. Only let down was one fan and light not working in the lounge area-broken door handle on main bedroom .No lift to top floors to side carry of luggage. Over-all kids had fun.

Lots of pool areas and good for the kids. The room didn’t look as good as the pictures, while most of it was clean the sheets had stains on them. I preordered a rollaway bed, which was there but it took all day and numerous phone calls to get bedding for it. Finally it turned up right before my daughters bed time. Food was very expensive for what it was and while it was good the wood fire pizza base wasn’t cooked very well. One of the spas had a lot of small children in and was very dirty. It was ok but pretty basic.

Stayed here with my mum and 2 kids 4 & 7. The kids had a ball which was the main thing and that’s all we could ever ask for, but there was some things that really didn’t come easy at the resort. There is no information about where to put your rubbish that you have to remove or else you’ll get charged. The rooms are dated but comfortable enough to be okay and get you through your stay. The problem we thought there is no supervision around the pools being that we had two young children in a pool and there was a big family with all different aged members running around with the ball very dangerously around children and no one was there to supervise the situation even though there was a sign saying you cannot have ball sports in this pool. It’s not fair when there’s no consideration about other people in the pool same with some of the other children pools there was about 12 kids in the spa all splashing while my littlest was trying to have a swim in the spa as the pools with way too cold for him. Staff were nice enough at the reception and the kids did kids club one night and the girls were great and lovely. I can’t imagine how busy this place would be during summer/school holidays!

The staff are extremely helpful and go over and beyond if you need anything. The facilities are brilliant for children and the cocktails are pretty nice. Free parking is appreciated. The unit was tired (30) and in need of a paint and a deep clean (walls, carpet and lounge). The people slamming doors from 6am in the morning is extremely annoying and turns out to to be the children up and roaming around on their own. Over a good stay and would certainly be great for families with kids.

Overall great trip and place to stay. Room was a bit dated and could do with a freshen up. Bathroom drain flooded bathroom floor when you pulled the plug from the bath. Great place for kids cinema great for cooler weather days, mini golf and tennis court both fun onsite activities. Pools all nice clean and have good facilities although only found 2 to be heated and I would still have said they were cold. Meaning lots of people trying to cram into spas not ideal with kids.

Well priced but a little dated.
The one-bedroom unit was quite dark and didn't seem like it was regularly used. For example, the dishwasher had a putrid odour from being closed up. On the plus side; Reception was excellent, the property is extensive with good swimming options and would be a great stay for families.

We stayed for a week in 2 bedroom superior room. The rooms around us were very noisy as the sound proofing was not great. The beds were very uncomfortable, definitely need replacing and everything's an added extra, even purchasing your own toilet paper, dishwashing liquid etc. On the other hand, the kids club was great fun fir our daughter, the beach was an easy 5 minute walk, the grounds were very well kept, the pools were in great condition, the splash zone was well manned for safety. The activities are why we booked and we thoroughly enjoyed these, needed more time to be able to use all the facilities. Kids had a ball. If youre looking for 5 star, book elsewhere. If you're in for kids entertainment its great!

The kids love going here because the water park and pools are awesome. The accommodation is good and the property is close to surfers paradise. Woolworths is 200metres away for grocery shopping!! Great place for families
