3.5/5 Good! (311 reviews)
We stayed at the Ocean Town for 2 nights in January 2022. We couldn't be happier with our experience at this resort.
We originally reserved Oceanfront room with 2 double beds, but looks like they were out of that type of room, so they put us in an Ocean view suite with a king size bed, which turned out to be fantastic! 1 to their customer service.
This resort is made up of 4 towers/hotels, all sharing the same main lobby. From the main lobby, one needs to take a light rail to the Ocean Tower. You can also walk through the resort, which is about 20 min walk. You'll walk through a museum section of the resort which has a large collection of arts (painting and statues). The light rail ride itself is very relaxing and has nice views. The only complaint is it runs a bit slow.
The resort has a fairly large connected pond system with tropical fishes. One of these ponds have dolphins. You can pay to get close photos with the dolphins (called the Dolphin Quest), or there's plenty of places around the pond to see the dolphins. There's also a cafe with outdoor seating area overlooking the dolphin pond.
Overall, this is exactly the Hawaii experience we've been looking for, and we couldn't be happier that we chose this resort.
