"I loved my stay in the bamboo cabin at Gingerhill Farms! The staff was so sweet and helpful and the cabin suited my purposes perfectly. The grounds are a gorgeous lush forest full of fruit trees that is so lovely to walk around. I would recommend it to everyone who has an appreciation of nature and the outdoors :) "
"At first it was difficult to get to because Google Maps take you to the neighbors. I was expecting to have breakfast provided but the owner made me realize that the room I had rented did not offer breakfast. Service can be improved."
"Check in was easy and quick. The room was very clean and had all thr things you would need while on vacation. The property was also very clean and we loved the location as well. Would highly recommend and return here for future vacations. "

"The property itself was fine. I didnt like that they left opened condiments and a water bottle in the refrigerator. Or that the sink pop up didnt work, or what looks like mold developing on the shower liner. But you get what you pay for, so it is what it is. My plane changed after booking so I had to extend my time with a late checkout, which I paid almost a whole day for to check out at 5 pm instead of 10 am. However, the entry code did not recognize my code after 10 am. I tried contacting the...

Maka Nui Estate private, family style home , newly renovated
10/10 Excellent
"A wonderful place...the views are beautiful! So much room for our family 8. Good location..short drive to Kona..alot of attractions and things to see in area..the kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The pool was great! Candi was very accomodating and checked to see if we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!"
"This property is absolutely spectacular! In fact, it's probably one of the best rentals I've ever stayed at (and I've stayed at dozens, if not more than 100), given the incredible view, sunsets , and lovely outdoor living spaces. It's also close to interesting attractions and good snorkeling. And, when I left my Kindle at the rental, the host mailed it back to me and was very friendly about it. Initially I thought the cost was a little steep, but I found it to be worth every penny and overall a good value for the beautiful experience provided. Book this place now - you won't regret it!"
"We enjoyed an idyllic adventure at the Beautiful Edge of the World bed and breakfast. Kurt and Caena were the ideal hosts. They provided us with a welcoming atmosphere into their home. The breakfasts provided were healthy and delicious. The setting on a coffee plantation enabled us to enjoy nature while relishing their warm hospitality.
The only challenge is that to reach the inn requires driving on unpacked roads. It was raining when we first arrived and our GPS stopped working. We called and Caena drove out to meet us and lead us to her home. The next day she led us out to the highway to ensure that we were familiar with the route. After overcoming this minor problem, we had a marvelous time at the Beautiful Edge of the World, which truly lived up to its name."
Private paradise organic farm stay with ocean view, nestled in banana grove
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful 2 bedroom home in a tropical paradise. Great showers and bathrooms with great water pressure, towels and shampoos, etc… Comfortable king beds in both rooms. Big kitchen and open living room area. Good wi-fi. Lovely view of the farm, plants and ocean in the background from the front porch. House had windows open in all rooms with fans and we didn’t miss A/C. Was nice and cool in the evenings with the fans. The hostess Krista was responsive and very easy to communicate with. She gave us a tour of the organic farm and was easy going. We loved staying in a less touristy area yet still easy access with our rental car to get anywhere on the island and the tourist areas within 10-20 depending on where we wanted to go. The access road to the house is EASY in our jeep and for any car (normal pavement with some speed bumps). We traveled the whole Island on our own and enjoyed coming back to this tranquil place daily. Missing the cute adoptable farm cat that was outside and enjoyed her cuddles on the porch in the morning with my coffee. Thanks again!!"
"I've travelled a lot over the last 4 decades and Kona Palace has the best view of any property I've stayed in. It is cozy and secluded and it was amazing just to sit on the patio and watch the sun come up from the side of a mountain! The surrounding foliage is beautiful and the accomodations are comfortable. The cherry on top was finding we had a hot tub!"
