"The facilty is excellent in every way. The operators were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The only downside is the 8km of very rugged dirtroad to get to the facility. Average speed about 15-20km/h and that was still pushing the comfort level in driving on the road. But we'll still go again -- just to enjoy the safari tents the next time."

"This was a great adventure. It might not be for everyone but it sure was for us. There is a bit of a hike to the yurt, which made for a peaceful and secluded stay. Andrea and Clay greeted us and showed us around the place which was beautiful. There is a river right out the door that we swam in, and the yurt was so cozy inside."

"We checked in pretty late due to traffic. But we had Wayne come out and give us the run down on the place. He didn't leave anything out. The communication with the host was unmatched. Super friendly and amazing the whole stay. If we needed anything they were there right away. The even brought out toys for our daughter to play with. Would definitely stay here again. "My family really enjoyed our stay at Foxfire Heritage Farm. What a unique way to camp in the comfort of a 2 pod yurt. They had everything that we needed minus a shower. There was lots of firewood for our cold nights but it was only softwood...which had me up every couple hours to restoke. The beds were very comfortable and the power pack was such a convenience to keep our phones charged. We really loved being able to explore the property and visit with all the animals. What an awesome...

"Grass needed to be cut shorter to walk between parking spot on side next to washrooms to our pod which was Sugar Maple to unpack and repack vehicle! Or better still another path made in the middle of that area so not needed to walk in wet grass."
