Montreal Flights

Montreal, Quebec, is a stunning, eclectic city that’s the perfect combination of European and North American culture, blending both French and English into a dynamic scene of creativity and fun. When you fly into the city, walk down the streets and revel in the 18th-century architecture of Old Montreal, and then check out the glittering shops and modern cafes of downtown.

Try the quintessential Montreal dish poutine (French fries, gravy, and cheese curds), but don’t forget delectable patisseries and English pubs, all within minutes of each other. In the winter, enjoy nearby snowy slopes and ice skate on the St. Lawrence River. Or check out Montreal’s underground city, where you won’t have to face the cold at all. And if you’re visiting in the summertime, don’t miss the Festival International de Jazz and other music festivals. Book your flights to Montreal here with us to discover all the exciting happenings in this part of town.

Best Time to Travel

Peak Season:

For the warmest weather, many tourists flock to Montreal from June to September to soak up the sun and 25-degree Celsius temperatures. The Formula One Grand Prix is in June, while the International Jazz Festival and Just for Laughs Comedy Festival happen during this season, too.

Shoulder Season:

Spring and fall are spectacular. Fall foliage in Montreal is a real treat, and so are the blooming spring flowers. Temperatures dip close to freezing at night, so pack warmly for the evenings and mornings.

Off Season:

A white wonderland and winter sports are in full swing from December to February, but great deals on lodging start as early as November and extend into March. Dress warmly and take advantage of the savings on cheap flights to Montreal, too!

Montreal Airport and Transfer Information

Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL)

Distance: 20 km southwest of city centre

YUL is located on the Island of Montreal. The airport is divided between public, domestic, international, and trans-border areas. Departures are on the ground floor, and arrivals are on the second.

You’ll find a number of transportation options from the airport. Reserve an airport shuttle in advance or hail a taxi on the ground floor.
