"If you want a quiet getaway that is a stone's throw away to the beach and national park then Gerroa is the perfect weekend escape. The perfect place to stay is the Discovery Park where the cabins provide the ideal accommodation. Seven Mile Beach and the Seven Mile Beach National Park is conveniently located. The cabins are well maintained and have all your needs for such a break.The Gerroa Boat Fishermans Club is a short drive away as well as Gerringong. Less than 2 hours away from Sydney I highly recommend Discovery Parks at Gerroa to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life for a weekend escape."

"Just a 1 night stay. The room was very clean. Some reviews complained about the noise from the highway but I was in a room on the opposite end so that didn't apply to me but I could hear when other guests walk or drove past so sound insulation isn't great. For dinner, motel guests got a 10% discount at the pub (same management/staff) which was great but the food took a long time (over an hour) to come. Breakfast was provided which was nice and the variety was good - both hot and cold food. There was also a tennis court and pool available but being winter, we did not make use of these. Overall, happy to come back but would skip the pub dinner and go look elsewhere otherwise everything was good"
