"Always stay with ibis budget and no hassle and very clean"

"We had a room (229) right near the elevators and faced onto a main road which meant lots of noise from both traffic and other guests coming out of the elevators when we were trying to sleep at night (definitely not soundproofed windows or entry door). The feel and look of our room was lovely though and was exceptionally clean. The common areas of the hotel were clean and modern with QT quirks mixed in. The staff were lovely and helpful as with all QT hotels. The hotel is in a great location to walk to all the viaduct harbour restaurants."

"it was an "almost" perfect experience .....everything was perfect ...till for some mysterious reason an obnoxious Sirene like sound , steady but dull in intensity started in the room in the middle of the night, which of course it woke us up . We couldn't find out the reason for it and how to stop it . By the time , out of frustration , were about to call maintenance the sound stopped. But that created enough stress and adrenaline that we couldn't promptly fall asleep again . That ...kind of ruined the overall ,perfect experience . Front desk has been notified ."

"While our room was comfortable & great location - the staff need to work on their customer service. We weren't advised of our free room credit on check in & even when I confirmed it with staff, it wasn't applied at check out. until I reminded them again that we were over charged. Check out is 11am but house keeping knocked on our door at 9.30am asking to make up the room. Also at check out after settling our room service bill, the receptionist asked to see the credit card we used for the bond again, which was unnecessary and a bit rude. Staff aside, the room was great."
