We stayed here two years ago and decided to book in again for last wekend while staying in the Newcastle area. The whole setup is supurb, lovely rooms, a friendly couple who run the place, delicious breakfast and a really handy location.

Wow wow wow first of all ! , I was amazed at this place and I’ll definitely be back ! , from the modern , clean open foyer , safety / security of having a key/ card for lifts , doors ect ,, when I walked into the room the blinds automatically opened to the amazing view and wow ! , the modern technology switches for the lighting , ambient lighting which was so comforting, tablet so service , bar , ect Bluetooth speakers in the room and bathroom which was amazing and I’ve never seen before , I...

Really nice place. Everything is new. Everyone is trying hard to please. one night but will go back for a little longer. just found it a little expensive for a one night stay $400. but it was a big room with two double beds and the view in the morning over the lake was just breathtaking.

Dining was overpriced and not worth it. Some pub grub is better. The accommodation view was superb.

Very convenient, basically across the road from train station/light rail. Room simply but neatly designed and calming colour scheme. Very comfortable quality bed and pillow options. Stay deal had breakfast was great value and breakfast fresh tasty with all the essentials. TV probably a little smaller than average these days in other modern hotels but no biggie in scheme of things. Great place to stop when travelling up or down the coast. Just off the highway, everything you need is close by, and friendly staff. Well worth it.

We had a pleasant stay in great comfort. The apartment is close to several excellent restaurants and to the sea.

We are a family of 5 . Also my parents came aswell so 7 all up . So got 2 rooms . 1st of all the customer service was great velet parking guys were amazing 👏 thank you so much for having us . Rooms were clean and that sea view was beautiful 😍 just 1 little thing . I wished there was kids meal like nuggets . My 2 toddlers dont like fish . So make sure if you have little ones to buy them some food beforehand if they dont want fish . Apart from that thank you Rydges newcastle 😁

Loved the family room double bed and 2 singles. Room was clean and had milk tea/coffee and complimentary water in fridge. I found it to be a quiet area. Check in was fast and very friendly. Beautiful place to stay in for a weekend getaway. Pool was clean but there was a thunderstorm late afternoon when we arrived so never got to swim. We will be back. Beds were comfy had a fabulous sleep.

We had 6 nights at Novotel Newcastle. Right from check-in, our stay was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was ever a problem. Great room with large balcony looking over Newcastle Beach. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area. Beach towels available in reception so we always had dry fresh towels. Fantastic place to stay highly recommend

Huge comfortable room with beautiful view of courtyard, lots of lovely garden ornaments and gardens. Restaurant had excellent meals, staff extremely friendly. Fantastic service all round, great value for money
