What it doesn't say is it's either meter parking out front or free two streets away. When I enquired about the parking situation before booking nobody bothered to respond. "Anniversary Stay at Bannisters Port Stephens We stayed at Bannisters to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The welcome was warm, and our Luxury Suite was clean and comfortable. However, we had hoped for a special gesture, such as champagne or flowers, to mark the occasion. Dining at Julio’s and Rick Stein was delicious but expensive, with disappointingly slow service. We appreciated Rick Stein’s thoughtful acknowledgement of our anniversary at the end of our meal. For a luxury resort, facilities and activities were limited. A fitness centre and more opportunities to explore the local beaches and nature would be welcome additions. Overall, an enjoyable stay, but the service and amenities could better reflect the resort’s premium pricing."
