"Great location for visiting sigiriya, but despite coming up as "Dambulla" on the map, it's about a 20 minute drive from there. Busses to Dambulla run from the end of the road and are quite regular. The rooms are basic but nice enough. Our room was not dirty but not spotlessly clean either. It had a private patio which was perfect for relaxing. The on site food is delicious - the best we've had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was generous and was served outside in the garden. They can provide...

"Lovely old bungalow. The butler service we had was exceptional. It’s cold at night so fires in rooms & hot water bottles in bed at night. Food really good. They don’t have a drink license so happy to serve your own. I just recommend you keep your gin in your room rather in their fridge. "

"Location - I am a regular guest at this property. It’s a bit of a heaven , utterly relaxing, surrounded by nature. The quality of my sleep always improves when staying at the property. The hosts, Supipi and Uthpala are super hosts. The meals are mostly made by Supipi herself and of course delicious. This time stayed for 6 days, could have easily stayed longer. Will definitely return."

"What an amazing place and host! It was certainly the highlight of my week-long trip to Sri Lanka. Getting to see the beautiful area surrounding the plantation was an outstanding experience. The opportunities to see the local environment, splash in the pools of waterfalls, and get a personal tour of the tea factory, were incredible experiences that we will never forget. Sumith is the most warm, welcoming, and gracious host and we wish we could've spent more time with him, exploring this community...
