"Surprisingly comfortable hotel, especially the bed. I was therefore just 8 hours, so ate or drank nothing. But as someone who was once responsible for Hyatt International's training worldwide (20 years in the company), I could not fault my experience. A shame that no one picked up on this fact which I shared in my email to reservations. Not that I wanted an upgrade, but an acknowledgement would have turned an OK stay into something personal. I was just another number. Politely and efficiently handled, yes, but nothing that couldn't have been handled just as well by a robot without a name."

"Beautiful hotel with beatiful grounds, great rooms (their Deluxe rooms and suites are really something!), varied breakfast with just about everything one would expect, lovely restaurant(s), good bar, big pool, amazing chappel and truly excellent personnel! Since my first visit I have increased my visits there and now go at least once a month. Good for single, couples and family visits, also offers a wide range of rooms and prices, from family budget (but quality nonetheless) to luxury spacious. I proposed to my wife there and we've also been visiting with our baby since. What else to say?"

"Close to the airport though you still do need to take a shuttle bus to Terminal which costs 7 GBP per person or 20 GBP for family up to 4 people (there’s a tap debit machine to pay the driver, don’t bother with getting tickets ahead of time). That’s not the fault of the hotel, transportation around Heathrow has big fees. It picks you up right out front. Very clean, quiet (never heard a plane!). Excellent size room. We didn’t eat there as it was quite expensive, so can’t comment on the quality of that. Self check-in is very convenient. The only thing I’d say is that it would be nice if there weren’t several Holiday Inns on the same road, as a visitor it’s confusing and even our cabbie wasn’t sure which one and we had to look up the street address."

"Excellent hotel. Staff, breakfast and cleaningness. The closest restaurant is at the Holiday Inn, just next door. The food is reasonable, good staff and nice ambiance. The cloth sofa needs a good cleaning."
