For the most recent stay, we unfortunately had to arrive late, but the staff was so helpful in keeping in touch with us until we arrived, and they greeted our arrival with open arms! We had a hectic day, so it was nice to be treated with such kindness at the end of this particular day! Originally, we thought we would be able to stay longer, but our plans changed, and the staff still treated us with such kindness! We usually enjoy a delicious breakfast during our stay, but sadly, we had to get up and leave for our next commitment! We regret having a short visit this time, but we look forward to our next visit!"

"My fiancé and I came and stayed for 2 nights while on a trip to universal studios. We got a season pass so we are trying to find a reliable hotel we can stay at whenever we come. Unfortunately our experience with the sojourn wasn’t great. For starters, the person who checked us in spoke like he didn’t want to be there or something I’m not sure, he just didn’t talk very professionally to us. Then, the room was okay, but not decorated the way they show in the photos, the only “retro” decor was a couple small pictures and two chairs. There is about a 2 inch gap under the front door, and the bathroom window didn’t lock or have a screen, it just slides open. Neither of our room keys worked after only one night. The shower was also extremely small. My fiancé is a plus size woman but she’s not huge, she’s about 260lbs, but she couldn’t comfortably shower in there shower. The toilet paper roll is also placed way too low and pushed against my leg the whole time I tried to use the bathroom and I ended up having to remove the roll to use it. There was also hardly any light in the room despite having multiple lamps and the walls were super thin. Just not a great stay overall."
